We are working on a research project so called “SAP WeChat Services” which aims to allow our China customers to easily consume SAP Business Suite via mobile, specifically via WeChat app.
WeChat is mobile communication app which is extremely popular in China with 468 millian active users by end of Q3 2014 and the number is still increasing. More than an app like WhatsApp, WeChat is also offering an open platform, allowing companies to connect their internal applications such as OA, ERP to WeChat enterprise account so their employees, vendors even customers to collaborate via WeChat app.
Our goal is to offer SAP functionalities through WeChat platform to our customers. The functionality could be something like, vendor checking payments, employee applying leaves, and a lot more. And we plan to do this via HANA Cloud Platform, thanks your great work to make it available to each of us. :-)
However when building the prototype, we encountered a technical difficulty that the response time of the connection from China to HCP trial is longer than 1s which is not acceptable in this integration scenario. Now we stuck here. Do you have any idea or suggestion?
