Hi all,
I'm looking into the subscription-oriented Java applications for HCP.
In particular, I'm considering the scenario where subscribed applications are hosted on the consumer account.
Let's assume that (option #1), as a provider, I create a Java application in my provider account and bind it to a db schema on a dedicated HANA box there. I don't need specific HANA native development, I'm just using it as a data source.
Also, (option #2) I could bind my Java app to the default shared HANA instance, without a dedicated box.
My customer, in option #1 is forced to buy also a HANA box, which definitely brings additional fees.
On the contrary, option #2 does not have this requirement.
Is this correct?
Thanks, regards
Vincenzo
