Hi All,
I use Eclipse for development for Fiori/Ui5 applications . Earlier I used to deploy to Git of Hana cloud from eclipse , wherein the versions were maintained in my hcp account and i could revert to previous versions anytime. Also it had the advantage where multiple people in a team could work on the same project and from your eclipse , Push,Commit and Pull would work well for the purpose if multiple people working at different times on the same project.
Now recently instead of GIT , I started deploying from eclipse to HANA Cloud Platform Server (since I had to use reverse proxy destination for accessing odata webservice url). So now my application is running from Hana Cloud Server instead of Git and I can see my application under Java Application in my cockpit. But the problem is that here I can't see any versions maintained nor I have to option to pull(download) the source code/app from HCP to my local system (which I was able to do in GIT). I wonder how the teams work on the same application in this scenario. Suppose a team member wants to modify a development in the application , he cant download the last version of the application from cockpit to local system. Also in case if some issue comes in latest version , we dont have an option to revert back to older version.
Can someone throw some light on this please , will be of great help.
Regards
Amber
