Versioning in HCP Document Service

Hi,

We are developing a new mission-critical product on HCP and using Document Service to store business documents. I searched HCP Doc. Service document and could not find sufficient information on how to manage document versioning programmably. 

Any help on HCP Document Service versioning will be highly appreciated.
