Cannot parse the metadata file !

Hello Experts,

A Beginner here. Was just trying out the basic HCP tutorial in 15 minutes by SAP from below link.

Got stuck at stage 3 with an error as shown in below screen shot.

The message says "Cannot parse the metadata file" ! Any help would be much appreciated.

I am an absolute beginner. Any help is appreciated.
