Can I import data into a table in the trial instance?

Hi,

I am unable to import data into a table I created in my trial instance. I'm getting the message below:

Insufficient privileges - User  DEV_2XBMK..... does not have INSERT

I also tried creating the records manually using the web ide tools  but it also doesn't allow me. 

Is this a restriction in the trial instance?
